I received my new camera, the Nikon D800, about two weeks ago. It was an early birthday present to myself. I originally ordered the camera the day it became available to pre-order in Canada, sometime in mid-February I believe. My birthday was on May 10th and it arrived a few days early!

I attended Con-G in Guelph last Saturday and had a pretty fun day.

Katsucon 2012 was a blast, it was my first time at the convention and also first time in Washington.

I bought a new car.

This past weekend, I attended Youmacon for my first time, which took place at the Renaissance place in Detroit, less then a kilometer from Canada.

I was doing a news story for Rogers today and I just so happened bring my Nikon camera along for a few shots.

A buddy called me up last Wednesday night and asked if I wanted to go to the New York Comic Con the next day, I said sure. Having nothing else on my to-do list, I decided it would be pretty cool to just suddenly jump aboard the band-wagon like that, and boy did I ever have fun.

Though darn cold, nuit blanche yet again had some interesting pieces to show and many people attended the event scattered through downtown Toronto.

The Woodstock new Art Gallery has finally opened, after months of renovation and discussion.

I attended a local Hockey game last night, an exhibition match at the Woodstock District Community Complex.

My 7th year at Fan Expo, and luckily a good one at that.

This evening I attended a little ceremony in downtown Woodstock. It was to show your support for the catastrophy that Japan has suffered, and that the Japanese people are being helped out from all over the world.
